New Award in te reo Maori 28 Jun 2017

A new award to recognise excellence in Educational Research theses also written in te reo Maori has been introduced for 2017.

The award has been named after the late Dr Ranginui Walker whose career spanned many years and roles, from membership in the Maori activist group Nga Tamatoa, and Chairing the Auckland District Maori Council, to becoming the Professor and Head of Maori Studies at the University of Auckland and a member of the Waitangi Tribunal.
